WeLove application is a simple dating application. This Privacy Policy applies to WeLove services, our mobile application currently titled WeLove (the "App"), our social media accounts, and any other product or service that WeLove chooses to apply this Privacy Policy to (collectively, the "Service"). It details how WeLove collects, uses, and discloses data about the users, including you.

Which Personal Data Do We Process?

Before you can use our App, we will ask you to register and create your personal Inner WeLove account (Account). In this respect, you are invited to provide us with:

  • Your Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Your Age/Date of Birth
  • Your Job/Function
  • One (or more) clear picture(s) of you
  • A description of yourself
  • Geolocation
  • Sexuality
  • Educational Qualification
  • Job Title and Industry
  • Marital Status
  • Date Ideas, Favourite Spots, Travel Plans, Hobbies, and Interests

By registering, you give us permission to send you SMS notifications. If you wish to not receive them, please mail us at vishnugana.prajeeth@gmail.com. Additionally, please be informed that we take photographs during events we organize, which may include pictures of you, and we may use these photographs for external promotional purposes.

Are You Younger Than 18 Years Old?

We do not collect any personal data from children under 18. Our application is mainly for users aged 18 and above. Users under 18 are not allowed to create an account in our Application.

How Do We Use Your Personal Data?

We may process these personal data because this is necessary to perform our agreement with you (i.e., giving you access to the App through your Account):

  • Verify your identity when logging in
  • Provide access to your account

We may also process these personal data because you have given us your consent (i.e., by voluntarily uploading such information to your Account):

  • Allow you to use your Account
  • Show your Account to other members
  • Allow other members to find you via targeted searches based on first name, height, age, and other shared information
  • Prevent, detect, and combat illegal or unauthorized activities on the App
  • Anonymize data for statistical analyses and research purposes with anonymized data only

We do not share your personal data with any third-party sources or others.

How We Use Personal Data on Your Account

Personal data on your account, including pictures you uploaded, your geolocation, date of birth, payment details, inviting friends, and push notifications, are used to:

  • Ensure that users of the App can engage safely
  • Provide notifications about possible illegal or unauthorized activities
  • Optimize user experience without using personal data
  • Share your geolocation with other members nearby
  • Show which other members are nearby based on your geolocation
  • Calculate and verify your age
  • Show your age on your Account
  • Search and match based on preferences set by you and other members
  • Process your payments
  • Include in our records for national tax authorities
  • Give you access to your chat history

Your chat messages are confidential. If you have given permission, we will send you push notifications about your membership status, new messages, and other activity. If you refer a friend to WeLove, you will send a message to their contact details. By inviting your friend, you confirm they are happy to receive the invitation and agree to indemnify WeLove from claims arising from your messages. You must not use the invite feature for spam.

Account Deletion and Profile Deactivation

Users have the option to permanently delete their account. Once a deletion request is made, the account will be scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. During this period, the user can cancel the deletion if they change their mind.

Additionally, users can choose to hide their profile temporarily. When a profile is hidden, it will be completely invisible to other users, and the user will not receive any messages or calls during this period. This feature provides users with the flexibility to go offline without permanently losing their account data.

How Do We Protect Your Data?

We work hard to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access or destruction. We use technical and organizational measures like SSL encryption and restricted access.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We are constantly looking for ways to improve WeLove and may update this Privacy Policy. When there is a significant change, a pop-up will appear in the app for your acceptance before you continue using WeLove.
